The term Reiki is derived from the Japanese words rei (universal) and ki (life force energy). \nReiki is a non-invasive\, gentle technique that aims to balance and harmonize the energy within the body\, which supports the body’s innate healing abilities. It is based on the understanding that well-being and vitality are achieved when one’s life force energy is strong and flowing freely. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a BS degree in Health Planning and Administration and is a graduate of the Institute for Therapeutic Massage certified in massage and personal training. He is a Mediumistic Healer\, a licensed Massage Therapist within the states of New Jersey and Pennsylvania as well as a Reiki Master/Teacher. He owns and operates the Battersby Wellness Center LLC and the Inner Balance Healing Sanctuary in Erie\, Pennsylvania. Dennis has taught hundreds of students in the New York metropolitan area Reiki for the last 16 years. He is also a moderator for the Journey Within Healer’s Gathering that meets on Tuesday evenings.
